I have built a new pc everthing was fine for a few weeks and then I started to get a message that Windows has detected a new PCI device. The only card I have installed is a PCI-E vid card. It has become bothersome, everytime I boot up it notifies it has detected a new device yet ...

In preparing for a future Vista installation, I am trying to merge three partitions on one of my 30 GB HD. I used a Partition program to merge an empty partition into a bigger one. Each time, it errored out, and created a new partition on the HD.

I just updates iTunes to version 7.2 I had problems with the updater but I finally managed to uninstall and reinstall the program. Upon start, some of my music files wich are stored on my 2nd HD (X:/ drive)

I bought the TwinhanDTV Hurricane USB DVB-T & Analog TV receiver. When I plug it in, no "found new hardware" message is displayed and the setup software does not detect the device. The PC is compliant with all the requirements and it is strange that

Posting this in case anyone here has an older "Prime Film" slide scanner and hasn't been able to find updated drivers. One major loss for me when my win98 box went down was that our "Prime Film" slide scanner (very important to those of us with artist mates)

My computer has a 60 GB hard drive that's almost full, so I've installed a 250 GB drive. Right now the 60 GB drive is the boot drive, but I'm going to transfer the Windows files (using Western Digital's Data Lifeguard software) over to the 250 GB drive and use that as the boot

This morning, I noticed the monitor which is old-fashioned and bulky type is shrinking, ... like a half inch minus all around the screen. Thus, it's like 16 inch screen instead of 17 inch of the monitor-screen.
