I purchased and installed Acronis V10 on my IBM Thinkcentre.
I added a new 80 gb drive as a second drive, rebooted and set up to run a
disk clone to the new drive.
The old drive had several partitions that I wanted to drop, only keeping C:

Win XP SP2 - I had an ASUS motherboard short out on me so I had to replace
it. I installed an ASUS P5VD2-MX SE and everything works fine except the

I copied my data files to a DVD-RW using Vista Home Premium. I then
installed XP but it didn't read the data that was copied there by Vista.
This prompted me to reinstall Vista.
How can I copy this data using Vista and be assured that XP will read it

The cable modem has one outlet. I unplug the desktop and plug it into the laptop with the same configuration + firewall off but it wont connect to the internet.
Any suggestions?
