I have two USB 1Gb flash drives (SV-U88), One works fine, the other however isn't. When I place it into the USB slot win XP doesn't recognise it. I cant read from it, open files or even format it. Can anyone help ?

i backed up my winxp with imagex from a winpe cdrom i built from WAIK. Now i want to restore this image to a bigger disk, no problem appling the image but then winxp won't boot, reporting that cannot find \ntldr. It seems like i didn't backup or apply correctly boot information.

Ok gurus here a tough one. Put in a new segate 750 GB drive to replace an smaller 250 (both SATA). After heavy use the drive simply disappers. I have replace the SATA cable, Power cable and replace the drive under warranty. Same thing. Plug in the old 250 and the drive

Would the version of XP on a machine with a Dell 160 OptiPlex motherboard be different than a standard Windows XP (Home or Pro)? I am wondering if a standard XP disk would install and run okay on that motherboard.

I am using windows xp. The question I have is I have 256 mb of ram installed and system information shows that but shows available ram is 29 mb. I have run 2 other programs that say I only have 127 mb of total ram. So is windows not reading the ram right or are the other programs ...

I'm using XP MCE on a Toshiba notebook PC. I keep having trouble in characters being skipped when I type rapidly. This is most apparent when I type a double letter (letter might come out leter), but it sometimes happens in other cases if I type real fast.
