I just got a 2nd hand 6 yo PC,PIII 800 133 (Coppermine-FC PGA).So I took a heatsink off the CPU and found out that there's old solid white burnt grease on a die,heatsink bottom and CPU body.What should I do,how I can remove that off the CPU die?

Hi Guys, I am posting this in the hope someone can give me a bit of advice regarding my system. It has been running fine since i reformated 6 months ago, then all of a sudden it has become really slow to startup and to open any application, i am thinking it might be virtual

I had a customer call and asked me what he should do with the COA sticker on the back of the case if he purchased a new larger PC Case. I would be swapping all his original components to the new case, but I have never had to do this before so any help would be appreciated.

I have a new AMD 4.2 Dual with three SATA II drives from different companies. Anyway, running XP Pro with all the latest updates and have tried Cacheman and O&O cache to see if I could get a bit more throughput from the drives.
