I'm getting Delayed Write Failure errors when trying to access an old internal Zip drive. What does it mean? I also get occasional I/O errors. What does that mean? I want to remove the Zip drive when I'm done, and reuse the IDE cable

Hi, i hawe problem with network. The tree in device list, with network devices is invisible. Network dosnt work, ipconfig dosnt work, ping on localhost is ok.

When I had a Gigabyte motherboard and running WIN ME, I could an alarm for the CPU temperature in BIOS. I now have an Asrock MB with XP home but cannot find nothing in the BIOS or anywhere else for setting an upper temp limit for the CPU.

I've got a WD My Book external drive. I used it for about a month. Now suddenly it will not show up. I have two boot systems, each one on a separate itnernal HD. the External USB drive will not show up on either of them. I'm using XP Home SP2 + patches.

I have purchased a STLab NetMOS 2-Port Serial PCI Card Moschip 9835 PCI bus 32 bit card to run a cashdraw kickswitch which does not work, it works ok connected to the serial port on the motherboard COM1, I am using the EFT-POS machine on COM1 for point of sale.

Running system with 512M. Runs of until I am running 10 or so Mozilla screens. However seems to get slow after that. Will almost die when loading a Adobe file. Brings the system close to a slow halt. Would adding 1G memory stick help. Would it speed the system in any way.
