I suddenly realized that double-clicking on an executable file on my
cd's no longer launches the application, both on my dvd drive and on a
virtual drive. The files can be read perfectly. I tried to uninstall my
drive and reinstall it, it did not solve the problem.

hi i used to have two buttons on the bottom when i clicked the windows
button. 1 was shutdown , the other was log off. untill recently the shutdown
button has disapeared. The only way i am able to shut down now is to first
log off and from there i ca shut down.

I have a multi monitor system (2 Dual Video Cards - specs below). I have had
a lot of BSOD and crash trouble (Page fault in non paged area, IRQL not less
than or equal). The problem is particularly bad when watching videos from

I just bought a Western Digital "My Book Premium Edition" external USB drive
as a replace my existing external USB drive.  The new one is 750gb and the
old one was 250gb.
On my old drive, I had a share set up on both the root folder for the drive

the folder when i click on the disk drive in my computer. In Windows media
player it says "please insert disk" I checked device manager and it says that
