Is there any point in having more than 2 gigs of ram on 32-bit Xp pro?
I'm asking this because ddr2 memory is cheap these days, so I'm thinking
about buying 2 sticks of 512 MB. I currently have 2 sticks of 1 GB.

I've had problems trying to install a Lan adapter, mostly due to
incompetence on my part.  I need to remove the hardware recognition (my
terminology!) from  my laptop so that I can install the software in the
correct order.  How do I do it please?

I  formated my HDD on my laptop and when I boot the system I get a message
''Operating system not found''. I tried another HDD which I know is ok and

Hi, when I started up my computer all words had been replaced with symbols
(looks like a wingdings font of some kind).  All files, folders,
menus...everything is symbols.  For example, the Start button is spelled out
with "question mark, up arrow, check mark, cancel X, and up ...

I have a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer USB mouse.  I assume it is

I added some ram to a computer.  It loaded up well the first time.  After
that, it almosts completes booting (in safe mode) and then reboots when it
reaches a 'mup' driver?  Any suggestions?
