Is there any point in having more than 2 gigs of ram on 32-bit Xp pro? I'm asking this because ddr2 memory is cheap these days, so I'm thinking about buying 2 sticks of 512 MB. I currently have 2 sticks of 1 GB.

I've had problems trying to install a Lan adapter, mostly due to incompetence on my part. I need to remove the hardware recognition (my terminology!) from my laptop so that I can install the software in the correct order. How do I do it please?

I formated my HDD on my laptop and when I boot the system I get a message ''Operating system not found''. I tried another HDD which I know is ok and still get the same message Any idea's please.
