How can this be done? My primary problem to start with is how do I talk to the BIOS/HDD to get me the S.M.A.R.T. info??? Getting at least the temperature of the drive would be a start... thanks

I have been given a Medion laptop and told if I can fix it I can keep it. Switched on from cold it may work OK for a while then it will totally freeze. Other times it will simply refuse to start, power LED is lit but no HDD

My mouse is currently jumping all over the screen. I would swear it was alive. Tried using differnt types. PS2 and USB and same thing happening. Looked at differnt mouse options and it is still doing it. Any one help?

When Automatic Updates finishes downloading its updates, if you opt to shut down without running the updates, Windows is configured to (by default) install those updates as another in a long line of stages in that shutdown process. I realize there's a way to turn that behavior
