Getting S.M.A.R.T. HARD DRIVE info into XP's WMI21 Dec 2007 17:55 GMT6
How can this be done? My primary problem to start with is how do I talk to
the BIOS/HDD to get me the S.M.A.R.T. info???  Getting at least the
temperature of the drive would be a start...

I had some problem with the drivers of my system and had to reinstall the
operating system. I downloaded the drivers from the gateway website after
reinstalling the OS and the sound icon too, but the sound icon does'nt
install in the task bar. How can I fix this issue. Any input ...

My mouse is currently jumping all over the screen. I would swear it was alive.
Tried using differnt types. PS2 and USB and same thing happening. Looked at
differnt mouse options and it is still doing it.

I have XP pro and on two occasions I have had the HD tray drive letter lose
contact with XP  and then after a while, lose all the data on the HD.
I am not sure why this has happened as I do not change them very often at all.

Dear experts,
I have a T61 laptop with WinXP SP2.
The problem is that the SD slot does not work with some SD flash memory cards.
Cards of 16 or 32 MB work fine (so I assume that the slot and divers are ok) -
