I manage a number of XP Pro machines.  Suddenly, starting yesterday and
today, we have a problem with "new" USB devices being ignored upon
connection; USB devices which are currently connected (such as printers and
keyboards) still work, unless they are unplugged and reconnected. ...

It is a big inconvienience as i completely depend on my comp and its
softwares, I changed the password to something i remember, it has a easy
reminder hint and i know what the passsword is but it wont let me log into my
account the admin account so i have to use other accounts ...

Hi, all. I decided to sell out my old IDE hard disk, and buy one new SATAII
hard disk, but I am worried about my personal information will not be
protected since there is risk that the new owner will restore all the data
in that harddisk. What can I do?

I installed this mouse on 12/9/07.  Mouse works fine but I am unable to
deactivate the tapping functions on my HP otebook touch pad.  I do not want
tapping to perform the enter or clicking functions.  In fact, the tab for the
touch pad no longer shows up in the mouse hardware ...

download companies scans report the Intel 8208EB drivers need updating.
Intel does not offer driver downloads for this chip because Mobo has an ICH5
and not ICH5(r) chipset and says use Windows native drivers.

I have a c drive that I know is failing. I bought a new drive and now I need
to copy all of my old dricve, including my system files, over to the new
drive. How do I do this? When I do a copy, it does not pick up all of the

I have a abit mb running win xp pro. The mic line requires the max gain
which results in 'naturally speaking' not working. Sound out works fine (but
not from the mic). Tried tower front & back ports, 3 different head sets but
no banana. Wonder if a sound card would work? Any ...
