I'm working on a friend computer. He told me that his screen would not
turn on. So i told him that i would take a look at it and had him go and
buy a new video card. Take it home and put the new card in. It still not
turning on. Any other thing i can check or do? can any one help

I have an external drive which used at work as well as at home. After used
it at work, found that can't be used at home. There are message came up to
say drive H not found which is a drive on my machine at work.
This external drive not showing in my computer, not in Disk ...

The motherboard & processor failed on one of my XP Pro computers. When I
install a new MB (different brand), will my system boot or will I have to
reinstall the OS?

sometimes in the past I have removed usb flash drive from the xp with
svc pak 2 computer without first hitting the SAFELY REMOVE HARDWARE
icon.   there were no problems when I did this.
How important is it to use this protocol?   Would not using it cause

I have purchased a new mouse - a Laser Combi by Trust.com (don't know

On Christmas day I had a computer crash and the results of which I had
to install a new power supply and hard drive.  After reinstalling
Windows XP home edition and all the updates plus all my programs a
problem has arisen with my Wireless Optical Mouse 2.0.

I'm running SBS 2k3 r2 on a HP ML350 G5.  Right now I have 2gb of memory
installed and am looking to upgrade.
I know that by default it will only support up to 4gb.
Can you use the /pae switch to increase that on SBS 2k3?

I'm putting this out for my brother.  He's having problems with his
system shutting down.  It happens a few seconds after booting, and he
can't even get into the BIOS!
