I have a Vipower USB mobile rack with a 300gb IDE drive enclosed that's
formatted NTFS, used to backup important files off-site.  Once per month I
update the files using a batch file (4NT) using this context:
COPY D:\TIFBAK\*.* L:\TIFBAK /U /S

Christmas day my PC crashed and I originally thought it was my primary
hard drive so I took it to the geek squad at Best Buy to have it
checked out and they told me yes it was bad so I bought a replacement.
After checking further I've found that my power supply had burned out.

I have a Dell system that has a QuitKey keyboard. I recently install a clean
copy of XP and just noticed that the double quote and @ symbols are
switched. This machine originally had Windows ME installed. Could this be a
driver problem? Nothing else seems to be wrong.

Should the DDR2 memory DRAM Frequency be as close to the Bus Speed of the
CPU as possible?  I have a P4 630-3.0MHz (4HT inside)  processor at 800FSB.
Are the settings below OK?   There are two DDR2-800 PC6400 2GB sticks on an
Asus P5GD2-X Motherboard.

good day,
i need help.  i recently experienced a problem with an mp3 player.  after
trying to update the firmware, the creative zen touch failed to be recognized
by the creative labs update wizard.  my os (xp) and wmp did recognize the

My E: drive has issues.  Scan Disk runs when i boot the computer. I by
pass with "any Key" and then windows HANGS on the "starting windows.
I can start windows when I enter the setup "F2"and I DISABLE THE

Hello Everyone...
I tried running a boot-time defrag using Diskkeeper 2007 and got a message
that the volume was dirty, not mounted or not NTFS.  I then ran chkdsk /f
and it also would not run.  I ran the Computer Management tool and checked

i changed my system vom AMD Athlon64 3200 to AMD64 x2 and was forced to
update the bios on gigabyte k8nf9 because the old bios didn't recognize
the X2. After that i had hours and hours to reinstall, because nothing
more didn't work (X2 was not a very goog idea....).
