I bought a Vodofone 3G/GPRS data card and package for use in Europe. It worked fine for a month. Then when I inserted the card it completely locked the computer. I left Europe for my home in S.E Asia and resolved to sort out the problem later.

If I need to use Symantec Ghost to transfer the data from one machine, into a new machine of a different model, then the usual hope is that enough drivers are there that the machine will at least, boot up, and then missing ones can be installed.

My cooling case fan died, but my Dell doesn't like the one I replaced it with. The measurements are okay and the spec are in the ball park. I couldn't find one locally that matched the one that died. Actually, I did take the old one with me. Dell pcs sure are picky!
