Are the any Low-Profile PCI-Express 1394b (Firewire 800) controllers out there?05 Feb 2008 19:00 GMT9
There doesn't seem to be any made by anyone. SIIG used to make them, but now
they stopped including a low-profile bracket with the board that is small
enough for low profile anyway... Does anyone know of a brand that currently
still makes them? Google has come up empty so far... ...

I received a MS Wireless Optical Desktop 4000 set (k'board and mouse) for
Christmas.  I installed it and now my screensaver does not launch.  I can go
in and configure and even run the preview and all that works fine.  I have it
set for 10 minutes, but it never launches.  Hours ...

I reinstalled XP Home Edition yesterday. The sound was working perfectly on
it just before that. However, now I can't get any sound. The Windows Media
Player displays the following message:  
"Windows Media Player Error - Cannot play back the audio stream: no audio

I  was using my computer today when suddenly shut down. I tried to start it

Having had troubles with a Pioneer DVD burner, I replaced it with an
older Philips one. After working without troubles for 1 day, I can't

programs but am having problems reinstalling my printer.  It is a
