The sound on my computer isn't working properly and after doing some
searching online I found that I needed to check the device manager and sure
enough there is a yellow question mark over my Multimedia Audio Controller.

I have a query.
For certain applications in Windows XP, when fired  to printer , some
characters are getting wrongly scaled. But the prn seems to be proper.
The problem is found only when directly  fired to the printer..

I have a strange situation with my DELL GX 260 machine (desktop) (win XP Pro
SP2):  this has been happening for the last 2 weeks.

I need Firewire IEEE 1394a, and my computer has only one remaining PCI
slot.  That slot is smaller (~45-50mm long) and described by the
manual as a "8x PCI" slot.  So my question is ... is there such a
