Hard drive confusion25 Mar 2008 01:37 GMT8
Guys -
I'm kinda confused about something.  I have a 320gb SATA drive but when I look in the BIOS it shows up as IDE.  Is it suppose to be this way?  See pic in the link.

All 4 of the printers in our offline on the network keep going offline.
Sometimes if we delete all items in the queue and recycle the power they

How hard to run BOINC?24 Mar 2008 03:55 GMT18
Are there any guidelines about how hard a CPU can be run and for how
long and/or how to tell if a CPU is overheating?
The other day, I downloaded BOINC to run on an old laptop that I
mostly use for testing shareware. It's an HP Omnibook 6000.

Is plugging it in and formatting it all that is involved?

"USB Device Not Recognized" in USB2 ports but is recognized on USB1     ports23 Mar 2008 16:11 GMT4
I bought a new USB2 PCI card and am having some problems using it.
I've plugged it in alright and I'm able to successfully plug in a USB
optical mouse into each external USB port on the PCI card and it works
in each and every one of them.  Same thing with a 128MB USB stick.
