I have installed power color R98E-SD3 with all the power connected to the card & disk power cable but will not boot. when the card is removed , reboot ok. any idea . thanks

I was about to post here with my problem when I stumbled over a solution. I have a recent upgrade from 2KPro to XPpro and I've been installing and uninstalling right and left for days, so I don't know what caused it but suddenly I couldn't see my CD/DVD.

Can someone suggest why my dvd/cd will not recognize any type of disc since I upgraded to the sp3 service pack? The driver and hardware say they are running fine but the player will not read any type of disc.
