Recently, I bought a DVD drive that was SATA oriented. However, m
system's motherboard is PATA oriented, and the PATA connectors can'
connect to the SATA slots on the back of my new DVD drive.
I need help deciding if I should buy a SATA host adapter for one of m

Ok, I have everything installed and I'm about to fire up the system. I'm
going to have to go into BIOS and choose SATA, right? The operating system is
Windows XP Pro, bought from a PC vendor 2 years ago.

Can someone suggest why my dvd/cd will not recognize any type of disc since I
upgraded to the sp3 service pack? The driver and hardware say they are
running fine but the player will not read any type of disc.

I recently installed a dual booting system with ubuntu and xp sp2....   but
after I installed Rising Antivirus xp give me a stop 0x7F (0x0D)  error...  
I don't know why....safe mode works for me and i installed the latest video

I have a hard drive that shows files there, but when I try to copy them to
another location I get the message, file not found.   Can fixing the file

there like me have this problem that says "THE DATA IS INVALID" after
installing or reinstalling driver. This topic refers to add-on cards such as
