My problem is that when I use an Addonics PCMCIA card reader to read my ATA
Flash card it shows a Local Disk.
The application I use (old and painful) needs to see the flash card as a
Removable drive.

i am having a blue screen almost 2 times  a day and it gives me the
following error 0x000000f4(0x00000003, 0x885255f0, 0x88525764, 0x805c8c88)  
can anyone decode this error or find a way to know what is the infected
hardware?

I have got ASUS laptop with two port, one is DVI-D and another is VGA.
I have also got two external LCD, BenQ 24" and Dell 17" LCD.
I tried to switch off laptop lcd  (using Fn F8) and to connect both lcd as
external monitor (one using DVI and another into VGA port) but it doesnt

booted up my XP machine and went to download IE8...
the page for IE 8 just sits there and the download never begins.
Fired up my Linux machine and downloaded it in a few minutes !!!

I have a winXP pc with a NEC chipset PCI firewire card that used to work but
recently disappeared from device manager. I plugged it into another PC and

If I have a drive M: that I've mapped to say C:\Some\path, it will
show up in the enumeration of drive roots (using
GetLogicalDriveStrings). However, there does not seem to be any way to
know that M:\ IS a virtual drive, GetFileAttributes say nothing
