This is a startup-problem.
I use windows XP - professional,
and MSN 6.0.
I've always had my PC on a network-internet connection,

Im trying to update messenger 4.x to 6.x on my XP pro...
all I end up getting is 2 messenger programs!
How can I update win messenger w/o having a seperate msn
messenger?

I have a NAT router with an internal network, so no computers are attached
directly to the Internet.
I have been plagued with the file transfer problem associated with Windows
Messenger since my router is not a Universal Plug-n-Play NAT router.

How can I stop getting messenger service pop-ups while I
am playing games?

How do I get rid of messenger service.  It seems that pop-
ups comes through messenger service.

If you have an attachment in MS Outlook 2002 SP2 (say a jpg attachment), you
cannot drag a drop this to MSN Messenger 6.0. I have to drag the attachment
to a directory first, then drag from the directory to the messenger. Copy
and Paste has the same problem.

  I installed MSN Messenger because I like it much better than that Windows
Messenger that came with Win XP.  I would set windows messenger to not open
up when I start-up my computer, but it still does, so it's conflicting with

any way to do this?  When I run the install program, it
doesn't give me the option to select an install location.
