new user, I can't sign in, messenger doesn't recognize my
password. also local area network says cable is unplugged.

Could someone let me know in my email provided how to get
the pop ups of the windows messenger service to stop
coming up.  Everyday my internet is on and even if I am
not browsing I get on my desktop pop ups of messenger

having a problem getting audio in messenger. both parties
can see each other via webcam but no audio. we both use

Norton System Works' Quick Cleanup will not run, because
it thinks that Internet Explorer is running (it isn't).  
Symantec suggested that I might also need to stop Windows
Messenger, but WM won't stop because it thinks that some

When trying to initiate video call from Windows Messenger
to MSN Messenger (both XP), error message says I need to
download MSN Messenger.  Can it be that they are not
compatible?  This seems ludicrous.
