Newbie question, haven't found an answer after searching
the KB.  First time trying to set up a video connection;
I can accept the incoming video request, see that the two

I have just upgraded windows messenger from the standard

I have a really frustrating puzzle that I hope I can get some help with.
I have a Dell laptop with XP home, all service packs and patches installed.

Eberytime I set a background in Messenger and I restart my computer, the
background is back the default, even though I set the new one to be the
default.

Does Windows Messenger come pre installed/pre-packaged with Windows 2000?.
or is it a download you have to obtain afterwards?. If so how do you disable
access or remove it completely from the OS?.

How than it accomplish the use of the pen (that is the user is able to draw or write
