I can log into msn home page with user name and password to check e mails and such, but can not sign into msn messanger. It says that my user name and password don't exist(but they do as I have used them to sign into msn

Gave up with MSN Mess, voice problem. Got it going in the outbound direction only. Spent two day trying lots of things. Went back to WM 4.7 that works.

I accidentally went into MSN chat. When it tried to install something I cancelled it. But now I have this tab on the left hand side of MSN Messenger and it won;t go away. I like my MSN display skinny and the tab is just taking too much space. How do I turn it off?
