I wanted to set up as a .net passport to use messenger. I went through the installation wizard, and it gave me a Hotmail account. It prompted me with my e-mail address already with @hotmail already there. It is now bombarding me with e-mails to say I have not completed the set up ...

I installed a Logitech QuickCam Messenger web cam. It seems MSN Messenger 6.0 can't capture the video. I can see the other end's picture, but they ( myself too)can only see a black picture.

My wife downloaded MSN Messenger 6. The problem is that this did not overwrite Windows Messenger 4.7, with the consequence that both start running and try to log me on, resulting in "You have been logged out.." messages.

i have to enter my email address and password evrytime i i just read one message. this is really getting crazy. i have used these things for over 2 yrs. never had a problem. now they took my email address and password away

Thanks for the help. Just one more question. After unchecking the 'check for server certificate revocation' I can sign in automatically, but I would like to know if there is a way to get around this without disabling this

I am also having a problem removing Windows Messenger. I have revoed the start-up at logon option and uninstalled it, but it still logs me on when I am running Outlook Express or Explorer.
