Hi: I am confused about one aspect of Remote Assistance.I
have Windows Messenger installed but disabled (because of
popups). Will Remote Assistance work or do I need to
enable it. Also. If I want to upgrade windows messenger

I only use Windows Messenger occasionally. Today it seems I cannot sign in /
connect anymore.
Before Messenger used to connect automatically when I launched it from IE.

From time to time I get disconnected from MSN 6 saying that I've been signed
on at another location. I know for a fact that this isn't happening, so what
is up with this message? A friend of mine says he has the same problem.

download the newer messenger is driving me crazy.  My
tech support couldn't help me get rid of it.  Does

Here's a teaser for you all.  I have a modem router and a firewall, behind
which is my PC.  I'm trying to get Remote Assistance to work and it's
becoming a real headache.  Initially I thought it was firewall settings, but
after opening everything right up, it still doesn't work.  ...
