I have messenger 4.7 . When I upgraded to Messenger6,    4.7 stayed.. (WHY)
Now I have two working versions of Messenger. I know I can uninstall
Messenger thanks to this newgroup.

I have the frequent problem that students download and install Messenger
(either Windows or MSN) and use it during class. It happens a lot that they
go through the wizard to attach a .NET passport to their Windows user
account. After that, they can't remove it anymore and Messenger ...

I somehow have both messengers on my computer. They seem
to both be the same thing. All the same contacts and
everything. But when I turn my computer on, one will log
in automatically, and then it pops up a screen to say

I cannot get msn messenger to stop enabling itself on my
startup.  I run msconfig and unclick it then restart,
that solves the problem for a little while then all of a
sudden it is starting back up when I restart the p.c..  I

Is there anyway to turn off the announcement about how
many unread emails I have ot the log on window (windows

program warns about windows\integrator.exe.  Is this
