When I open MSN Messenger I am allowed to log on but after I log on a message box pops up and says that a instruction can't be read and closes. Any suggestions? GT

This is extremely annoying! I'd like to remove Messenger from my system, OEM'd by eMachines, but can find no way to do so. I even downloaded the fr---g'n update, hoping it would go away, but it doesn't.

Okay, fine, not the plague, but it feels like it. I don't know how many times I've removed messenger from my computer, either through add remove programs, or vbscripts from the web, and all of a sudden it's back again, annoying the crap out of me. It loads on windows startup

If I disable windows messenger, will it stop giving me email notification on the Welcome screen for XP? Also, how can I get the notifications to show up under the right 'owner'. Right now all the notifications show up
