Messenger 4.X  and 6.008 Sep 2003 16:57 GMT1
I installed the 6.0 thinking that it would upgrade the 4.X.
Imagine my surprise when I still had 4.6 and 6.0 on the machine.
Now when I goto add remove programs 4.6 is not even there...
I suspect it was part of the upgrade to IE 6 and would like to know

I am having audio problems with MSM messenger. My son and I hooked up
webcams and did everything the wizard directed. It all worked OK in the
wizard and we get the video, but no audio comes through either computer. Any
ideas on how to get the audio working?

Hi. I recently installed Windows XP (not an upgrade), which somehow
installed Messenger along with it. That's fine, but now, whenever I make a
dialup connection Messenger automatically signs in. I don't want it to do

How do you uninstall windows messenger? They want me to
update it for security reasons but I dont want it at all.
everytime I turn on the computer I get a pop up message
telling me to update and I cant get rid of it.
