i have been using windows messenger 4.7 for net meetings with no problem, although i can only get a result when i accept an invitation, i cannot send an invitation and get it accepted, but since updating to windows messenger 5.0

Why am I getting grey-colored windows with ads that I don't want, even when I am not connected to the internet, with the label, "Messenger" something at the top? How can I STOP these from popping up?

If Windows Messenger no longer supports Hotmail email messages then I would like to revert back to 4.7. Please can you tell me how to downgrade from 5.0 to 4.7. Thanks

Since installing Messenger 5.0 my system no longer auto logs me onto messenger when booting up even though the option is selected. It also doesnt tell me that I have got a new hotmail email anymore. Anyone able to cure
