One of my XP accounts is still showing a "1 email received" notification through (I think) Windows Messenger, but I had opened the email through Messenger my other account.

I have access to a Messenger account from two accounts in XP. I noticed one flagging up an email to be read, but I actually logged off that account and only later checked the email through the Messenger on the other account.

Hi Johnathon, It looks as if I spoke to soon. I shut down my pc and when I rebooted I again cannot logon to messenger. I comes up with unable to log onto .NET Messenger Service.

when i exchanged NETPassport for hotmail it put in another version of msn messenger. i was 4.7 now it's 5.0. it kind of messed up ol-express. both messengers are in tool bar. you go to ol-express it wants the older version
