I just installed Adobe Reader 6 and now when I click its program icon on my desktop, Windows Messenger 5's installation program starts and keeps starting no matter how many times I click Cancel. I already have Windows Messenger 5 installed. I remember something like this happening ...

My XP users who are using the OS version of Messenger (4.7 I think) are getting notified every thime they use it that they should upgrade to version 5 to patch security flaws.
