So I had to "bite the bullet" and reformat my C: drive ...absolutely everything is now working fine except the voice feature in Messenger 4.7. Individuals called can hear me.... but for some reason , I can't hear them. All settings are the same as before. Any solutions ? :(

I've been struggling for the last week trying to get Windows Messengers Audi/Video functions to work. I'm running Windows XP Pro, hard-wired into a Linksys WRT54G router (latest firmware upgrade) using Messenger v5.0.

All I do is start Adobe Acrobat and up comes the installer and Messenger 5 is installed. Never fails. Just try and stop it;) --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
