I cannot open msn messanger nor windows messanger. I have
a windows popping up telling me that msnmsgr.exe
application error and The instruction at 0x77f58e20
referenced memory at 0x1d840ff6. The memory could not be

I'm trying to send a message in Windows Messenger 5.0 using ink on a
Tablet PC.  I've checked the box to send and receive ink in the
Messenger preferences tab.  But when I try to send ink, I cannot click
on the ink icon.  It's disabled.

We just upgraded my mother's computer to XP (from 98-SE)
and now when she logs into her Hotmail account (could be
every other webpage, too, I'm not sure yet) it says:
"The feature you are trying to use is on a network

I keep getting a popup from the messenger toolbar icon

Windows Messenger's EXE name is msmsgs.exe. I believe MSN Messenger's EXE
name was also msmsgs.exe; with MSN Messenger 6.0, however, it appears to be
msnmsgr.exe. Is this accurate? If so, with what version did MSN Messenger
change to msnmsgsr.exe?

My friend has a web cam which works in other
programs,works in msn messenger 6.0 tuning wizard, but
web cam settings in messenger says it's not detected.

Here's my situation:
I have a USB webcam AND an external camera connected to a WINTV card.  When
I run the "audio/video tuning wizard" in MSN Messenger, it only sees the
VFW camera and NOT the webcam.  Both do work,  and Messenger used to use my
