Boy am I confused. All going well w/Outlook till I did MS

Well that says it all. I somehow checked a box somewhere
during installation that said 'YES' to do you want to
receive e-mail notices of critical updates. Now I get 6 a
day. Help someone!!!

I just installed MSN Messanger 6.0 and it works great BUT
messanger 5.0 is still on my system. Annoying.
How do I remove it - I don't want two versions.

I can connect fine from a client installed on the same machine, and on one
other machine.

I can sign into my msn hotmail/messenger only by going on
the msn website but I cant sign on using my icon on my
taskbar???? That is how I normally sign on though??? It

I am unable to connect with my friend in canada to chat.
