i'd really like to use LCS and messenger for my team, but our enterprise
hasn't gone to active directory yet.  i have a 2003 server in stand-alone
mode that i would use for the LCS platform.  could i install AD on this
system in order to use LCS?  how would it be affected by the ...

4.7 works fine but when I upgraded to 5.0 it can not find
the internet connection at all. I had the identical
problem with MSN Messenger in the most current version, 7
or 8 I believe. When I uninstall and go back to 4.7 there

I am confused.  I have windows XP and msn messenger.  I
also use a logitech webcam.  They all work, but
sluggishly.

I am currently using Windows Messenger 4.7 (4.7.2009),
with windows XP professional. After clearing the blaster
virus off of my pc, I cannot get windows messenger to
stay open unless I keep the window open or minimized.

I have been using NetMeeting for sometime now and all of a

I have both Windows Messenger and MSN Messenger.  My Norton Firewall keeps
popping in and showing that c:\Program Files\Messenger\msmsgs.exe is
preparing to access the internet ~every 2 minutes.  I am unable to figure
out how to stop/prevent this from happening.  It only started ...

Ok now i did that and downloaded the new version, but
when I go to install it it says something like Cant
access network location <common administrative tools>
allusers      or something along those lines.
