Running WIN2K with latest updates/service packs installed.
A month ago I tried to install MSN Messenger 6 which subsequently destroyed
my user profile, after reloading my backup I have continued with MSN
Messenger 5 - no problems.

My friend in Canada has Windows 98 and MSN Instant

I wonder why the Windows Messenger lacks the  possibilty to send
messages to contcats currently beeing offline. We use Windows Messenger
with Exchange 2000. Messages could be stored there until the contacts
gets online...

for internal communication Windows Messenger with Exchange 2000 Server.
Unfortunately not all employees use Windows and we don't know any linux

I am running XP Pro behind a netgear dg824m wireless
router - my friend is running Windows ME - and we both

When I connect to someone using voice chat, I can hear them OK for the first
5 seconds or so, and then their signal just breaks up and all I get is
static. Has anyone run into this and/or know how to fix it? They can hear me
fine the whole time, but I can't hear them.

I once again ask, why my ZoneAlarm Firewall recognizes the dynamic ports
used by Messenger for media streams.
I expected, that ZoneAlarm Friewall blocks this kind of UDP traffic. But
