When I attempt to establish a webcam conversation from MSN
Messenger 6 to Windows Messenger 5, I receive this error
(text in brackets added by me):
"The webcam conversation has ended. [The Windows

I keep getting Window's Messenger pop ups to upgrade. I
don't even use the program and I've deleted it from my
hard drive.  How do I get rid of these pop ups forever?  
This is new in the last month or so.

How do you eliminate the annoying notice of messenger
updates when you do not use messenger nor want to use it.
Each time a no answer is entered into the pop up, the pop
up reappears anyway.

We're having a problem getting a webcam conversation to work. Here's the
scenario:
Both participants are running XP pro with MSN messenger 6.0. Both have a
Logitech Quickcam pro 4000 web cam. One is on broadband cable the other is

I've done some experimentation with XP messenger voice mode via public
Wi-Fi networks.  While it works OK on some, I have trouble on T-mobile
Hotspots.  No connection seems possible.  I have UPnP installed and
enabled on my XP machine, the other (non-wifi) end tests ok.  MSN

cannot sign into msn.ca or .com tried 20 times and it
keeps coming up this page cannot be displayed  i know you
half to have a net passport iv tried that and the same
thing comes up to im connected to the internet so thats
