I'am connecting to Instant Messaging using Windows
Messenger 5.0 and SIP Communication Service.
The problem is that each time I launch Messenger, he asks
me for my password. Normally I should find a "Save my

Everytime I go on to the internet I get a "Windows
Messenger" pop up window come up that says "A new version
is available.  You must install the newer version in
order to continue.  Would you like to do this now?"

Hi,Ive been told by contacts that there is a bug goin

I have two problems  with WM:
1) WM opens when I start Outlook Express(OE)even though I

I am having a terrible time with Hot Mail.  When I send
an attachment, I cannot open it.  The window that pops up
will only allow me to "save to disk" the "open" button is
grayed out.  My attachments also end with  .lnk

Don't know if its gone for good but found instruction to
open up OUtlook Express mail and on the menu bar at the
very top click on Tools and then Options.  In Options,
click on the General tab.  There are boxes with check

Can some one tell me why I can talk on messenger with a computer that on my
linksys 4 port router but when I try to talk to a friend blocks away, he can
here me but I can't here him. we can see each other ok. He can talk to other
people but not with me...Is it a setting on the ...

I recently updating my Passport profile so that I use a
different email address to sign in. Now when I sign in to
Messenger it says my contact list is empty. It's as if
Passport is treating this like a new account. This is

i recently installed MSN Messenger 6.0 (last version was
4.7 w/o any add-in upgrades)... now my windows xp welcome
screen reports that i have 8 unread messages (attributed
to my hotmail account which i had recently emptied i.e. 0

I can chat, transfer files and send/receive live cam, but i cant establish

hints? Router is netgear DM602. They say "MS Messenger supported"...
