Does the Alcatel 510(v3) (upgraded) UPnP work with WM v5.x or not?27 Nov 2003 17:14 GMT5
I'm trying to configure my network to work with an Alcatel SpeedTouch
510(v3), that was "upgraded" from Home to Pro and then to the
theoretically UPnP enabled 510, in order to gain Windows Messenger's
v5.0.0468 audio conversation's functionality, so far with no success.

Regarding my last post on the trouble I have been having
with my Microphone, I was able to solve the problem last

I'm currently using MS Messenger 5 (not MSN Messenger).  
My problem is I don't want it to start running
automatically when I start Outlook Express.  Any way to

OK--recently moved from VA to MN and have been using Messenger for the past
9 months to communicate with my family back in VA using Audio/Video
conversations.
I must say, when things work, they work fine.  When they don't, it's all

I'm currently using MSN Messenger 6.1 but when I want to
start this one, I have a message that I'm already using
windows messenger and that I'm must be deconnected
at .netmessenger before connecting at MSN Messenger 6.1.

Well its now happened to me also, one night I am talking happily away to
friends on MSN messenger 6.1, turned of the comp for the night the next day
I find I can no longer establish Voice communications, I have tried all
sorts and a restore back to the day it worked but no change.

Hi, am having some trouble with my voice/microphone, have
checked all volume controls and recording control, nothing
i am able to find is muted, all wizards indicate the sound
card is working fine, however they all say something is

Is there a way to disable windows messenger.  I get a pop
up requiring windows messenger update before I can do
anything else, yet it will not update no matter what I

I performed the latest Windows Update for XP. It was dated November 15th or
something like that. It is supposed to fix security issues in IE. Well
anyway, the update is humming alond and then it opens a new windows with a
