My problem is, every time before Adobe Reader 6 started
to run, 'Windows Installer' would pop up
saying 'Preparing to install' (Windows Messenger 5), I
tried to stop it by clicking on 'Cancel', it took some

I am using WinXP, I have installed msn messenger 6.1 and when I go to log in
it says that I am already logged on. etc. I have done a little looking
around and have noticed that I am most likely logged on to windows messenger
ver 4 (that came with XP).

a lot of people seem to be posting this same problem! but
i have to find an answer that works. my msn messenger
wont load. i have deleted and reinstalled messenger (both
version 4.7 and 6.1) many times. but nothing works!

Sometimes this results in a complete crash and I need to

I can videoconference (with MSN Messenger 6.1 installed on
W2K) to my wife running MSN Messenger 6.1 on XP.

I recently registered my e-mail address with Passport. I
am still having "E-mail address not verified" against my
name when I use Windows Messenger. This is despite the
fact that I have clicked on "Verify my E-mail address" in
