I have a problem with my MSN Messenger (4.7). Since a few days all icons in
the view is the "green man"-icons, i.e. the icons for collapsing different
groups are "the green man" etc.
It makes it difficult to see who is connected and who is not as all my

I know there is a way to disable msn messenger from being
installed and run by editing the registy.  I am looking
for the same way to disable yahoo messenger from being

A friend of mine downloaded the newest version of Messenger and now cannot
use his microphone.  He has gone thru the Audio-Tuning wizard and it says
it's working OK.  Also, the mic works UNTIL a voice conversation is started
....then it quits.

Often once my computer loads messenger wont connect. I am

Is there a way to completely uninstall windows messenger?
Removing it from the windows component, under add/remove
programs, will only remove the program from the start
list. The same goes for outlook express. Can't I unistall

In MSN Messenger 6.1 I click when I receive a new email

I'm using IP filtering that comes with Windows 2000 Server RRAS and I've
allowed ports that work with MSN Messenger 6 to work but can't seem to get
Windows Messenger 5 on a XP Pro system to work. I'm having problems logging
on.
