I have Home XP how do I stop the folders from opening as web pages?  I need
this because of all the popups.  I know there was an area to have them open
as plain folders but cannot remember.

I am justing looking to find out if Video & Voice functions will
continue to work with Windows XP Windows Messenger 4.7 with a new, up
to date D-Link Wireless Router or will there have to be work arounds ?

I'm currently using the windows XP Messenger 4.7 that came with XP home edition. I know there is an upgrade to version 5.0, but I see there is an option to upgrade with ability for SIP and exchange and the other doesn't. Which one is better?

I cant run my  MSN MESSENGER Due to an ordinal error to

I need to determine when a user first used messenger on my computer.  When opening messenger this users e-mail address is available on the pull down.  I checked the registry and this user is listed in the registry but no date.
It is highly important that I figure this out

When I installed Windows Messenger 4.7 on Windows XP, I noticed that the little icons that show if your contacts are on or off line have no color. They appears as black blotches behind the contact icon.
I don't know if this is normal for Windows Messenger because I'm used to MSN ...

I have had this problem for about 2 weeks now. My windows
messenger gets black kind of choppy edges around the
icons.They appear round the messenger himself, around the

I recently upgraded my os from 98 to XP Pro.  In the
process, I also upgraded my MSN Messenger.  I had 4.7 and
I now have 6.1.  Now, everytime I start windows, an
installer attempts to run but an error message is then

new message, atc) the options setting for this  is
correctly set up. and help?

I have a friend who uses another e-mail provider and has
it registered with MSN Passport but when he launches the
MSN Messenger it says that he need to verify his e-mail
address... question is how does he does this?
