I cannot figure out how to get sound effects on my IM, I
have checked all my sound settings, re-installed
IMmessenger, and windows xp, everything seems to be OK,
but I don't get the sound effects, on any windows

I did a update from 4.6 to 4.7 because of 6.1 was not
logging in one night. The 6.1 works fine now. The problem
is when I start my computer I get my msn buddies saying
hello. The chat window is gray and the ver is 4.7. I do

I have been experiencing painfully slow file transfers and
super low framerates with video conferencing using the new
MSN 6.  This used to be faster w/ previous version.

Just installed 6.1. After signing in, it signs in and
then immediately signs back out., i tried deleating the
msn messenger file in run %appdata%\microsoft, but i

I am want to disable the messenger service.  When I open up services
the messanger service does not show in my list but I know it is
running because I get the pop ups. I have Windows XP Home.  Any ideas
