works lovely , then when i come to shut down computer, it
always comes up with" msn 6.1 not responding" and it
takes ages to shut down
i have uninstalled it then reinstalled it , to no avail ,

Orange have now released a fix for this.

msn messenger is showing the "my status" bar with the
status on top of the other... i just installed 6.0 and

hi! i just had a quick question, kinda dumb i know but i
cant figure it out. i have Windows XP home and on my MSN
Messenger 6.1 my sister clicked on "sign me in
automatically" and so whenever we turn the computer on

Is there a way to set up "Windows Messenger" to  load only
if I have my laptop  attached to my lan?    I currently
use version 5.0, and I only run it when I'm at work.
Otherwise I don't use it at home, and I hate waiting for

Anyway after upgrading to 6.1 Messenger signs in and then immediately signs
out.   The sign in is successful as others see me (somewhat annoyingly)

When attempting to send my webcam,using Messenger 6.1, to
another user I get a message stating that my camera is
either 'in use by another program or turned off'  I have
setup the camera using the Audio/Video tuning wizard and

Windows Messenger 4.7 keeps erasing all my contacts.
The list of my contacts remains in my Allow List.
The only issue possible is that my computer at work signs
me in automatically - could there be a connection there?

Greetings, all.  I've had problems with my local machine lately with
viruses, worms and trojans.  I'm still not completely disinfected, but
an oddity I noticed a few weeks ago, that mysteriously ceased, is
back.

I keep getting 'error 1600' when trying to download MSN
messenger 6.1.  I'm using XP pro with SP1.  The included
windows messenger works fine, but I want 6.1 with it's
expanded capabilities.  Can anyone help with this

My webcam can't display anything when I'm chatting in MSN
Messenger, but It works when I use the webcam setting.
Can anybody help?
