I signed up for messenger and deleted the email befor i
verfied my e mail address. so i keep getting the message
to verfiy my email. i tried to delete my account and start
a new account but that did not work. can anyone help

I'm running XP HE.
I used MSN Messenger 4.7 until I had to upgrade to 6.1, via a message
from Microsoft.  I was surprised that 6.1 didn't replace the old
version, so now they are both listed in my program files.

I have tried to get msn messenger 6.1 working on my PC
for sometime now. I have windows XP as OS. My problem is

There is bug with MSN Messenger. When I receive an email
and which have checked "Display alerts when email
received", I click on that notification and it jumps me
right directory to my msn email account in a new window.

I'm running windows xp pro, athlon 750 t-bird, 896mb ram, ATI Rage vid card
with Logitech Quickcam Messenger.
Seems that everytime I try to either start a webcam conversation or change
webcam settings in Messenger, the entire Messenger program freezes up.  I

Tonight I got prompted to upgrade to 6.1  Did the upgrade
and now when I login, I am automatically logged back out
after about 2 seconds.  Bug???  Previous version worked

i just installed version 6.1 (i had 6.0), and everytime i
try to sign in, it would sign me back out. then it would
sign in automatically then sign me back out again. It
keeps doing that like every 10 seconds. Is there a bug in

On a LAN
When I print I get a "Messenger Service" pop up message
giving me details of the print job.  The same message also

first, on the main dialog box where it says "my status" the actually status
of "online" is on top of the my status text, alos when i type in a
conversation, all my conversation normally say "cjweir says". now it only
displays "says". this is also true in the history as well, please ...

account names in the dialog boxes on the drop down menu
such as msnuser@microsoft.com, followed by the password
