I have a US Robotics 8022 Router and want to use Windows Messenger 4.7  with
my webcam (logitech quickcam messenger) an two computers on my local lan.
my router (cable modem) has a static ip. My local lan has ip range
192.168.123.x.

I was prompted to install MSN Messenger yesterday and did.
Now I have Windows Messenger and MSN Messenger both trying
to signal me when I log on and I have two icons on the

Does anyone know where I can download MSN Messenger 6.0 -
all was great on 6,0 then upgraded to 6.1 (and again to
6.1.0207 and both video and audio don't work - with those

Hi, Im having problems connecting on an NT computer.  It worked fine but
I recently ran some updates on Windows Update but now it wont connect.
https has also stopped working also, I tested using hotmail and amazon
which both wouldnt work.  My normal e-mail still works though. ...

I have a Windows XP Pro system which won't start Windows
Messenger.  When I attemt to start Windows Messenger, I
get a quick "busy" mouse, then nothing.  The event log

I've logged into messenger using my passport but am logging in manually all the time, as my mother has her own passport.

I can't sign in to either MSN IM or Windows Messenger.
When I try, it brings up an error stating that the ID or
the password is incorrect.  I can sign in to hotmail and

messenger logs itself in and i come to know only then
when some of my contacts say Hi!!...

My son has just installed a new hard drive and I now have
windows xp installed. When I downloaded the msn
messenger, I now find that no matter how I set the
security levels, (in the options menu) all you need to do
