I have been trying to fix this problem since 9 AM at work
and finally decided to reformat the hard drive and
reinstall Windows XP.  After all this, still no MSN

It used to be that in my MSN Messenger 6.1 on Windows XP
the contacts that were online had little GREEN icons next
