That's great, what do I do with that file as we only want some machines to have the limited access and may need to give this access back in the future.  Is there a way to reverse this if need be

Brother in FL and me in TX each have Win XP Pro and 6.1.0207.  We can't talk
(voice) but can yak all day and night with clear uninterrupted comm using

I have a new Pc with XP and copied a lot of programmes of Win 98 to XP
and have overwritten Windows Messenger by MSN Messenger. Everything
works allr ight with it, except that Outlook Express does not show the
contacts of the messenger in the contact list any more.

Signing in to .NET messenger servive failed because the

The messenger icon is not on the taklist nor is it in the systemtray.
Nevertheless, if I dial to my ISP my buddys can see that I am online.
Messenger logs itself on even if it is not started.

how do i also stop automatically logging in when i open
messenger..i share a computer.. so if someone else clicks
messenger it automatically opens mine
