when i just sign in, MSN messenger freezes and the "CPU usage history" in task manager goes to 100% until i end messenger process... there is no use of reinstalling messenger the same prob goes and goes again.....

I have a new Dell and the sound works great but even after the test, which says everything is fine, I have no voice. It says my microphone is fine but it doens't work with messenger,the only thing I would use it for, and I don't know how to fix the problem. Can someone please ...

I can't close Windows Messenger in the system tray. Of course, I have checked that there is no application running and using Messenger (Outlook Express, Outlook Express, MSM Explorer). Only Internet Explorer is running.

I'm trying to make it so I don't receive Email alerts - so I have unchecked "Display alerts when email is received" in messengers preferences - and I'm still receiving a pop up alert when a new email is received.
