Both a me and a friend use MSN Messenger v6.1. We chat with webcam and
audio and are using Logitech Quickcam Pro 4000. We do not use the
videoconference feature, because the video is not as sharp as in
webcam mode, and for some reason, the bandwidth usage is much greater

why can't I talk to my friend with the mic.
she can hear me but I cannot hear her.
She has 98 and is using msn 6.1
I have xp home and I am using windows messenger.

Whenever try to EXIT (Signing out no problem) WM., a warning pops up, "Close other applications that use WM., like IE, OE......", when they are not even open either.

On my welcome screen below my name a message displayes that there are 211 unread messages. What is annoying is that my e-mail account has 0 messages! I don't know how to get rid of this annoying message. Is this part of .net passports or some other messaging services.
