Cant use Instant Messaging in Outlook XP with MSN 6.124 Mar 2004 21:49 GMT3
I just installed Messenger 6.1.  I went into Outlook XP and unchecked the
run in background, run when windows starts and away in 10 minutes boxes
shown in Outlook options instant messaging.  Now when I select options in
Outlook, it says that I need to at least install MSN messenger ...

All of a sudden a box pops up on the screen stating that
the messenger has encountered a problem and will shut
down.  The error report is sent to Microsoft who says
they do not have a fix but try downloading version 4.7.
