I do not use Windows Messenger, and I object to receiving obscene messages on the desktop while I am on-line, together with the annoying pop-up asking me to upgrade the product I refuse to use.

I have XP Home and Windows Messenger 4.7.0041. I discovered that messenger does not actually uninstall in the add/remove option, as just removes the selection from the startup menu.
