Each time i open my msn, i alway see my account and when i
clic on it, it don't ask me my password. What can i do to
solve the problem. This computer is a multi user whit only
one user set. And i'm not happy than other user can see me

Since the upgrade to XP every time i start my computer i
get a message telling me that Instant messenger can't be
loaded till it is upgraded to a newer version. I click
upgrade...it looks like it is upgrading andf minimizing in

The *CORRECT*  (and *only*) way to deal with these is below: -
Turning off the messenger service is an incredibly
stupid, idiotic and foolish thing to do. It has no bearing on messenger in
any way, shape or form. The Messenger Service is what spammers exploit to

I am not sure if this would be under the "messanger"
newsgroup, but I cannot stop the pop-ups that
say "messanger service" at the top.  They are quite
annoying.  If you could tell me how to stop these, I

i have recently not been able to connect to my msn
messenger, each time i type in my user name and password a
message pops up sayin "we were unable to  sign you in to
net.messenger service, possibly because of a problem with

Hello, is it possible to use messenger through a wireless
home network.  I want to be able to use it on a laptop

My Event Log regularly displays the following error:
*** ID 10000 *** Unable to start a DCOM Server:

MSN Messenger hangs when I click Audio.
1. Audio works fine with Netmeeting.
2. I have disabled the Sygate Firewall.
3. There was a clash between Windows Messenger and MSN Messenger, but I

I have XP Home and Windows Messenger 4.7.0041.  I
discovered that messenger does not actually uninstall in
the add/remove option, as just removes the selection from
the startup menu.
